Childhood sweethearts … reunited
Julie and Craig’s story began pretty much at the beginning … when they were born in the same hospital, a month apart in the UK. They even went to the same infant school and primary school and knew each other … because Craig did the record player and sound system for morning assemblies and Julie was the student who did the announcements … so they proved even as small people, that they could work well together!
They lost contact when they both went to high school and when Julie moved to New Zealand at 15, it was clear that their lives had taken different directions.
Seventeen years ago … Craig got curious about the ‘friends reunited’ site … obviously in the days before facebook and looked up a bunch of people from his school days.
There were a lot of guy friends, but he only looked up one female friend. Julie.
To cut a long story short … when the time was right for both of them … they eventually realised that theirs was the love that they had both been searching for all along.
So Craig made the only spur of the moment decision he’s ever made, handed in notice at his job and decided to follow love and move to New Zealand.
As far as momentous spontaneous decisions in life go, they don’t get much bigger!
Today, I marry my soulmate, Julie.
I will continue to support you, hold you and forever love you.
I trust you implicitly and love you immeasurably.
I can’t wait to carry on with this life we are building together.
I love you for your warmth, your strength,
and I want you to be all that you want to be.
Craig, you are my soulmate, my best friend, my one and only,
my shoulder to lean on, my anchor and my life.
You are the one I choose to do life with.
I love you with my whole being unconditionally.
Thank you for choosing me and moving your whole life
so we can be together.
I love the energy and total unconditional love between you two and I think your love story is just gorgeous.
